I built these two maple cabinets for a client who was looking to add some organization, beauty, and lightness to their desk. The quartersawn walnut used on the drawer fronts and door panel adds some drama and contrast. I love the details in this piece – the hand cut dovetails on the cases and drawers, the gentle curves, and the center drawer modified to accommodate a laptop docking adaptor.
